Roast Pork with Gravy

I’m in love with Nico’s Pier 38 near Chinatown in Honolulu! The place is located right in Pier 38 and everything is so delicious and fresh! The portions are huge and the prices are great! We loved it so much, we went there a second time for lunch.

Above is the Roast Pork with gravy and it comes with rice, and macaroni salad. $8.15

Fried Ahi Belly

This was divine! Perfectly fried, topped with a great tomato salsa and comes with rice and a mixed green salad. $9.80

Catch of the Day

This was the Catch of the Day. A fresh fish patty with a cream sauce. $9.00

And of course I lose the picture of my favourite dish of all times! The Pan Seared Ahi Tuna w/ ginger and cilantro sauce! I had the Ahi cooked medium rare and it was perfect. Rare inside and perfectly seared on the outside. It was like eating a huge tuna sashimi with a delicious sauce. The second time we came for lunch we each ordered our own Ahi steak. We just loved it that much!

Malasadas

So many people have raved about the Leonard’s Malasadas, so I knew I had to try it! And I am so glad that I did! The Malasadas is like a doughnut without a hole. You can get it plain, with sugar and with custard. The dough is very soft and its fluffy. I loved the ones filled with custard. I couldn’t help myself and had 2.5.

French Toast Special

Keoni is a Thai restaurant in Waikiki however they serve good breakfast specials starting at $3.95. This is a very good deal in the Waikiki area. I had the french toast special for $5.95.
