Took a quick family trip to Asia for Chinese New Years…and still currently missing this.

Until next year!

Apologies for this much delayed post. June has been a hectic month but a great one =) Things have started to settle down but with moving ahead I hope to post more as soon as I get the chance. During busy moments I never really get to soak it all in, so it’s always good to look back and revisit those moments.

At the end of May, a handful of my really good girlfriends took me on my first experience to The Big Apple (can’t believe it’s been a month!). We did lots of eating, shopping, sightseeing and walked for miles. Enjoyed every moment of it and can’t wait till I return. (Thanks girls!). A bit of an intro of what we devoured over….more elaborate details to come.

Happy Birthday Canada! It’s going to be a lovely weekend filled with BBQs (3 to be exact) and quality time with family and friends.

There will be lots of events around town to celebrate this special day. Top 5 events to check out:

1) Canada Day at Granville Island

2) Canada Day at Canada Place

3) Surrey Canada Day

4) Canada Day at Steveston Salmon Festival

5) Canada Day Burrard Inlet Fireworks

Have a great weekend everyone!

The weather has been depressing lately and there has been no signs of summer heading our way. I’m staying positive and getting prepared. One of the things I have been looking for lately is a small grill that I can tote around with me to parks and small gatherings.

Modern Mini Grill from Anthropologie

Isn’t this just so cute! And in my favorite color..limegreen!

Inoshishi Hibachi Grill from Anthropologie

This one is interesting and love the concept of it. However, not too sure how I feel about grilling food on the back of a piggie.

Seed bombs from Anthropologie

Can’t wait to get some of these seed bombs! No need to dig, just pop them into a pot. I planted my first strawberry plant a couple of years back and without any attention it grew and produced sweet strawberries. I hope these will be just as easy!

Started April with a Fundraiser for Japan. A great event helping those in need from a devastating disaster..sending our support and love.

Starting off the weekend with a delicious North Shore smoothie from Cactus Club. So very delicious!

My new love! So fluffy and spreads easily <3!

Sunday morning creation. French toast stuffed with (my new love)  whipped cream cheese topped with fresh mangoes.

Found this great new application for iphone called ContactPlus.

ContactPlus tells you exactly WHERE and WHEN you met anyone in your iPhone Address Book!

It uses your iPhone’s GPS to save the location you add a contact, and with a single touch you can view the location on a map.  In addition, this App will also show the date and time that you added this contact.

ContactPlus uses your iPhone’s address book to store the data so you know it will always be there – even if ContactPlus is removed from your iPhone. The “RECENTLY ADDED” view also gives a list of all contacts you’ve added in the last few weeks, starting with the most recent.  Perfect for the day after a big conference or party!  This even works for contacts that you added before you installed ContactPlus.

Why do you need this application?

As you frequently meet new people ranging from business associates to acquaintances, it’s very difficult to keep track of who everybody is in your address book.  Using ContactPlus, you can now remind yourself exactly where and when you met an individual.
