I heard many good things about Skillet Diner and decided to go for brunch on a recent trip to Seattle. The line up was out the door by the time I arrived and the place was fully packed. Luckily, it didn’t take too long for us to get seats at the bar. I really enjoyed the atmosphere of this place. Very relax and laid back feel.

The Cinnamon Bun is a weekend special. If you like cinnamon buns then this is definitely a must. The two of us could only eat half. Wasn’t too sweet and just the right amount of cinnamon. Really enjoyed it.

I knew I wanted to get this right when I read the menu. How can it get any better? I had the choice of fried chicken or pork belly and I decided to go for the pork since I’ve had fried chicken waffles before. The pork was very tender and juicy. The sauce was great with the waffle and maple syrup. It would have been a bit better if the portion of the pork was a bit bigger ( me so greedy )This was the daily scramble of the day. It was good but nothing special. There are definitely other more unique items to try on the menu but overall a satisfying dish.

Can’t wait to come back and try their popular Grilled Peanut Butter and Jam with Fries! Great place to go anytime of the day.

Piroshky Piroshky- 1908 Pike Place

Russian hand-held stuffed pies with sweet or salty fillings. The line up to this place was huge. You can see them making it as you wait in line.

Below: Smoked Mozzarella Cheese, Broccoli and Mushroom. The Piroshky is quite big and very filling. I could only eat half. The Beef and Cheese really enticed me as I waited in line. Will be trying that one next time!

Lowell’s- 1519 Pike Pl

Located right in the heart of Pike Place Market. Fresh seafood and great views.

Below: 16oz bowl of Clam Chowder. Creamy and fresh pieces of clam. A bit too salty for me but lots of fresh clam taste

Currently, really craving Beecher’s “World’s Best” Mac&Cheese. When I stopped by their Seattle location  couple weeks ago they had a full house of people. They make their cheese right in store and you can smell the goodness blocks away. Located in Seattle’s Pike Place they serve paninis, soups and of course the World’s best Mac&Cheese!

bubbly, hot, gooey goodness *droolssss*
