Sundays are always great for relaxing, trying new recipes, spending time with friends and just being lazy (playing witty games). Last week, I decided to try a new cinnamon roll recipe and made chilli in the slow cooker for a Super Bowl get together. For my first time, both turned out pretty good. I was especially pleased with the cinnamon buns as they turned out delicious! Perfect for a late brunch.

Now I just wish..Sundays could stay longer….

2012,

I can’t believe you are here. Thank you 2011 for sharing and providing me with so much happiness and inspiration. 2011 was definitely a year filled with unforgettable memories, changes and growth. Although it was a busy year it still gave me time to travel. Started off the year in Vegas and Cabos, continued with Hawaii and short weekend getaways and ended with a long trip around Asia. These moments I cherish the most as it nourishes me with perspectives and a sense of completeness. The world is my classroom and I hope 2012 will bring just as much teachings.

The past year was also filled with so much love and support from my friends and family. Thank you to the ones closes to me, to the ones who are forever friends, my Sisterhood, the ones that are far but still close at heart and new friends. Thank you for always sharing my passions (yes I have many..) and always being there for new adventures. 2012 will be a big year for me as I begin the next chapter of my life and I am so grateful that you will all be there for the precious moments.

Nothing is greater than the relationships you build and maintain. I hope to do more of that this coming year and cherish all the little moments. I also hope to spread my blessings with a volunteer trip this coming year. Wishing everyone great health, happiness, eats and memories in 2012.

Cheers,

moi

I have been holding on to the sunshine and to summer for the last few weekends. Trying to spend every moment outside as the sun shined before it hibernates again. For the long weekend a few of us drove to Penticton for a light camping trip with much of the time spent floating down the river channel. The float started off relaxing but by the time we passed mid-point we all became a bit kooky which resulted in ducks chasing us, Cheetos flying in the air, man overboard and all our floaties becoming detached. By the time we reached the end of the channel most of us were exhausted and freezing. All in all a great mini getaway with tons of laughs and funny stories.

Hiyah! I have started my own online accessory store for unique, affordable accessories for everyday life. I have recently become intrigued with accessories and realized that it doesn’t have to cost a fortune to re-vamp an outfit. Sometimes accessories are all we need to makeover a wardrobe . All pieces are carefully selected therefore selection and quantity is limited. Please feel free to take a look and email me with questions! xoxo loves!

I have been to a few corporate parties and I would have to say the EA party that I attended over the weekend was the best of the best. It was held at the Fairmont Vancouver Hotel with three different rooms, great food, fun atmosphere, casino tables, Karaoke, fun photo booths, dancing and an ice sculpture vodka bar.

The main area with food and dance floor

The Vodka Bar
